ABOUT US

The Jesuit priests were sought after by European Monarchs, China’s Ming Emperor and the Japanese Shoguns, for their knowledge and expertise. The Jesuits were truly global, being the first Europeans to cross the Himalayas and enter Tibet, paddle to the source of the Nile, etc. They spread knowledge across the world and gained unprecedented prestige and influence from Rome to China over several centuries.

Xavier’s Institute of Management and Research (XIMR) was established in 2006 as a successor to the erstwhile XIM to provide managers with a global prospective, in line with the requirements of a fast changing business environment. It began with offering the two year, full time MMS programme of the University of Mumbai. XIMR has the DNA of the Society of Jesuits, who work tirelessly for “the Greater Glory of God.”

XIMR has attracted many new corporate such as HUL Ltd this year and the student-led placement cell will continue to work to get prominent corporations to campus.
