Because all business decisions are essentially trade-offs, we need managers who will consistently take only such decisions that benefit not just self & the company but also the society at large. Our purpose of existence is to develop such business leaders. 

 

We believe that the top 20% in any class are as good as the best students in the top institutes. Hence starting academic year 2014, we will invest more energies into these 20% students so that by the end of their course, our most deserving students get the finest employment opportunities. 

 

At the end of semester 1, ~20 students will be identified as the "Fast Track Batch". Their selection will be based on the following 3 parameters: 

1. Examination Scores 

2. Faculty review 

3. Peer review. 

 

Over the duration of the next 3 terms, we will invest our collective energies to transform these committed students into business leaders. These students will have exclusive privilege to the following. 

1. Summer Internship in Africa - 50% of this group will be sent to Africa for doing their summer internships. 

2. Summer Internship at the Ideas Incubation Lab - Remaining 50% will get a chance to hone their skills on some challenging new projects that are taken up the lab 

3. Business Case - Each of these students will be given exclusive mentorship to develop a business plan. 

4. Tutorials - Senior faculty, including the Director, Will run additional tutorials for these students. 

5. Exclusive Placement Effort - Institute will put additional efforts to reach out to corporates who otherwise do not visit our campus and offer these students for screening.

 

Students who do not make this elite squad will continue to have access to regular lectures, placement efforts & all infrastructure.
